Sarah and her family decided to make the move to the Sunshine Coast from Melbourne after a family holiday in 2016. The relaxed pace of life, endless beaches and subtropical climate were irresistible. Sarah and her family wanted to slow down and settle into a new home in a family friendly area with more focus on outdoor living and more family time.
It took a lot of work to make their dreams happen, they needed to renovate their Melbourne home, put it on the market, find a new home on the Sunshine Coast and school for their children. After a whirlwind reconnoissance trip squeezed between work commitments they fell in love with Twin Waters for its tucked-away appeal, proximity to Maroochydore shopping & dining precinct and the glorious man made canal system at their back door. With the airport next door it also made for convenience for travel and family visits.
When the Toucan team arrived the family were excited, the car loaded up with all the essentials for a fun family road trip. With arrangements for the key to the Melbourne property made to hand in to a local real estate agent the family were free to start their adventure heading north while we got their possessions on the road to their new life in the sunshine.
The team met up with Sarah and her family on the Sunshine Coast and unloaded while the children excitedly chose their bedrooms. The toucan team assembled all furniture, including beds and resisted the urge to play in the tubs the lego the children insisted they play with them. Thankfully no lego was stepped on during this move!
